This Ford Model 'TT' van suceeded the first Model 'T'. This model was designed with increased wheelbase and chassis lenth and an uprated suspension system providing a greater load capacity. The Model 'TT' Fords were produced extensively as pickup vans and tankers and continued in production for eight years until the Model 'A' Ford Van was introduced. |
The Ford Model TT is the truck version of the Ford Model T model. The chassis was lengthened and weighted to make the vehicle suitable for carrying 1 tonne of cargo. Until 1923, Ford initially only supplied the chassis, customers had to take care of the superstructure themselves.
